Loved it…but wasn’t able to love it long enough — Update! I was pretty excited about this fire pit, it seemed to be an exceptional value for how large it is. However, I’ve learned that the rule of getting what you pay for is very hard to break–and this product is not an exception. I always thought the metal was very thin, but figured the makers knew what they were doing–until I was moving it today and noticed that the metal had already corroded through, creating a small hole in the base.

Fire Sense Roman Fire Pit Exactly what I expected for the price. It is thin but it works fine. We’ve had several evenings out with it and no problems. I did buy a cover for it to extend the life. Easy to put together and looks very nice.

Very THIN I like the roman type look, but the material is so flimsy and thin that I doubt it will last more than one or two seasons, never mind and entire year. This can be picked up by one arm easily and tossed.A good stiff wind will blow this thing all over.Must be emptied or covered in the event of rain/snow.You get what you pay for, this thing is cheaply made.I would not buy this type/quality again.
